Remember Dom

Forever 17

A life that continues to give

Dom left this earth far too soon, but his story did not end there. Through the gift of organ donation, he gave hope and life to others — a final act of selflessness from a beautiful soul.

A message from Steve

Do It For Dom.

Hey Friends, Family, Brothers & Sisters — welcome to the Do It For Dom website.

I’m Domenic’s father, Steve, and I want to share the meaning behind Do It For Dom.

On July 4th, 2024, Dom left this earth a hero. Through the donation of all his organs, he gave hope and life to others — a final act of selflessness from a beautiful soul gone too soon.

The day before, as Dom lay unconscious in his hospital bed after his car accident, a hospital chaplain entered the room. Moved by the Holy Spirit, she delivered a message I know was sent straight from God:

By His infinite grace, God took Dom at 17 years old to teach us something deeply important — to live life with gratitude. Be thankful for everything you have. Live humbly. Cherish the simple things: your relationships, the love of family and friends, the time you get to share together.

Don’t let the little frustrations or the things that aren’t going right in your life steal those moments of joy. Instead, pause. Breathe. Remember God’s message. Be grateful — because when all is said and done, the stresses fade away, and what remains is love!

This message from God doesn't surprise me. Dom lived this way as well. Always grateful for what he had. I looked up to his ways even though I was his father!

Do It For Dom.
Live fully! Love deeply & generously! Be grateful always!!!

With love,
Steve
